Beware...A. Tierney has filed for bankruptcy. There are many of us who paid for dresses that were never ordered or she did order them and never paid the manufacturer. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

If Tierneys took your money and did not provide you your dress please contact Morristown Police. My Fiance had to go directly to the designer to get her dress. The business seems to be closed now for good and there is no way to contact. They do not return emails, or even messages left for them under their door. STAY AWAY!! Rumor is that one of the owners was using the deposits given to her to pay her legal issues

Just want to warn everyone that if you go on the scammer's website, they have updated their info. Store hours after 5pm are by appointment only. Are they kidding???? They aren't even open. And it has a statement about their phones being out of service. They are having problems and their landlord even said that they are trying to stay open. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are the sweetest people to your face, but they are robbing people and getting away with it. Let us be an example and don't get burned by these thieves. Go to a reputable store that actually pays their phone bills. It's 2009, do they really think "we're having phone difficulties" is a legitimate excuse? They could always get a new phone number and post it on their web site. They are hiding out from the people they stole from.

Like some of the other girls who have posted negative reviews of Tierney's, I wanted to add my own horror story of an experience in the hopes of DISCOURAGING any other new brides from falling into the SAME TRAP. It cannot be coincidence that we are all writing pretty much the same story about them - paid 75-100% of our money, landline phone disconnected and cannot be reached, won't pick up their cell phone, won't give an exact delivery date, orders never actually placed with the dress manufacturers, not getting dresses in time, not getting money back. I am lucky that I only ordered my bridesmaid dresses through them and not my wedding dress, but trust me that it is NOT worth it to risk ANY part of your wedding. Don't be fooled by how nice the girls might seem when you initially go in, like I did. The bridesmaid dress issue has caused me countless hours of stress and frustration. I never usually post reviews of anything, but really wanted to try to help someone avoid the same problems that I have had.

Please don't go to this "bridal store". They are robbing people of their money, disconnecting their phones, closed during business hours. There are many of us who have fell victim to these two sister who are really sweet until they get your money. Then POOF...they disappear. They are pathetic and heartless. Don't let them ruin such a memorable time in your life like they did to the rest of us. It's a shame they are allowed to do this. Better business buearu gave them an F!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
